About Toroons

Nonna Maria made Toroons for every occasion. Weddings, parties, random visits; if there was a gathering, there were Toroons. They were the treat everyone fought over, the first to disappear from the table. But the best? Finding a hidden bag of Toroon trimmings in the freezer. Those NEVER lasted long.

She tried teaching us the recipe, but Nonna never measured a thing. "A fistful of this, a splash of that," she'd say, trusting her hands and her heart to get it just right. And every time she made them, her home filled with the warm, rich smell of roasted nuts. But it was the taste of the Toroons that truly brought it all back; the laughter, the stories, the feeling of home.

We've taken that same spirit and tradition and brought it into today, making every batch by hand in small batches in Toronto and keeping the heart of Nonna's recipe alive.
